Hannah-Marie Turner

Junior Designer, Kathy Patton Designs

Hannah-Marie Turner’s deep passion for interior design was ignited long before her formal education in interior architecture. As the daughter of a traveler, she grew up navigating the diverse landscapes and design cultures of the Middle East and Asia. Each new location offered a fresh perspective, and through these experiences, Hannah learned to find beauty and a sense of “home” in every unfamiliar space. Whether it was working with fabric styles, lighting, or color palettes, her keen understanding of how spaces can evoke comfort and belonging only deepened with each new city she called home.

Currently a student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Hannah is completing her Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture & Design. In her professional journey, she brings a mix of formal training, hands-on experience, and a self-taught mastery of creating environments that resonate deeply with those who occupy them. As a Junior Designer at Kathy Patton Designs, she assists in residential design, digital space planning, graphic design, and marketing efforts. Hannah is instrumental in crafting design presentations, managing project documentation, and helping bring a sense of comfort and style to every project.

Her technical skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite, and IVY, all of which support her talent for transforming initial design concepts into beautiful, livable spaces. Recently, she’s helped Kathy Patton Designs secure accolades such as participation in the 27th Annual Cashiers, NC Designer Showhouse (August 2024) and a 10-page feature in Southern Home magazine (Jan/Feb 2024), further solidifying the quality of work and vision she contributes to the team.
