Welcome to Behind The Blue Door

Behind The Blue Door is the name of Kathy Patton Design’s new STUDIO. We are excited to unveil this new addition - and are appreciative to the people who made this dream a reality. Behind The Blue Door is where the magic happens. New design plans are created for projects ranging from complete historic home renovations to urban townhome re-do’s. Here we collaborate and showcase projects for our clients. The space is light and airy and inspirational. Be the first to see this new Studio in the Holiday Tour of Homes Dec. 14!

For those who want a complete transformation, Kathy Patton Designs can do it. We have a client that rolls up her wool rugs for sisals and packs up her dark cocktail table for a scalloped painted table. Even lamps change out to transform her fall/winter look to the summer feel of a home on Lake Lanier. “This makes me so excited! I look forward to the week before Easter every year when we put away the dark colors and bring out the spring and summer pieces. It’s like I have a new house every six months!”
